doe- a dear, a female dear..

daisy had her own favourite-st corner of the whole class, from where she could admire the patterns that the sunbeams made on eucalyptus leaves jst outside her school window. But today the familiar face which she had met yesterday- rhea, waved to her "come sit with me". Daisy who normally didnt like to be seperated from the classroom window much was confused but then she liked Rhea so.... That was the first day Daisy had human company for lunch. But then she saved half of it as usual for the birds and squirrels in the school garden. (she was 2 sweet 2 forget her old friends u see...).
"by the way, daisy i think you really look pretty without your specs "said stickly legs( ooh.... for the record, this is daisy's ultra-thin classmate who used to pointedly ignore her. we wont bother with her name coz she is not going to pop up much in the story). Now that was something ... nobody had ever called daisy pretty before, that is nobody except her grandma who used to lovingly braid her hair with pink ribbons. Embarassed and thinking she was being teased Daisy was jst about to retreat into her enchanted world again when rhea joined in " yes, i think she is right. you do look very cute." hm mm..... there was this disturbingly delicious warmth in daisy's cheeks( my guess, is that could be a blush). The first vestiges of female vanity stirred in daisy's mind.. After that it was mostly peaches and cream... except for the fact that she never wore her specs to school again ...(she used to hide them in her school bag and wear them before she went home).Daisy made many new friends in her class and one of them was the boy sitting in the bench next to her.( now this was someone whom daisy disliked, mainly because he used to stick chewing gum in her hair) We will call him jimmy because he is his perfect for this name. Well, jimmy used to help daisy with her maths so her grades slowly improved.
And then suddenly, one day as she was walking in the park watching the deer play , something struck her hard...
